Jamie is now being seen as a rival to Susan Boyle, although he has yet to match the number of people (50,000,000) who have watched Susan’s audition to date. Nevertheless, Jamie’s audition has only been on the site for two days, Susan’s has been there for more than 3 weeks now.

Jamie is now second favourite to win the competition, which would give him a £100,000 prize and the opportunity to perform in front of the Queen at the Royal Variety Show.

Jamie’s audition has yet to attract the 50 million YouTube hits Susan Boyle’s clip has enjoyed, but his performance was enough to make him second favourite to win the TV competition.
